The EnSerMo machine shop boasts an assortment of mechanical equipment, tools and technology which ensure our clients’ machining needs are met with efficiency and accuracy. All of our equipment is regularly serviced and maintained to the highest standard.
EnSerMo has three lathes onsite, all with various capabilities:
Large Lathe
3 000mm between canters
450mm swing (520mm through gap)
Has a screw cutting ability (metric, imperial and square)
Medium Lathe
2 100mm between canters
1 100mm swing
Small Lathe
1 000mm between canters
230mm swing
Has a screw cutting ability (metric, imperial and square)
Digital Readouts (DRO) equipped for high precision machining
We also have various tools for our lathes, including a range of chucks, face plates and steadies, as well as a collection of standard and special cutting tools, drills and tips.
Our milling machine has the following features:
320 x 1 130mm bed
A 3 access turret head
A shaping attachment
Digital Readouts (DRO) equipped for high precision milling
Power feeds
Tools for our milling machine include dividing and indexing heads, vices and clamps, as well as a wide range of end mills, facing heads, broches, taps and shaping tools.
